The second layer of filter plate is designed along the circumference of the water hole, so that the water flowing down will not flow directly to the storage tank to produce the ticking sound; instead, it will be blocked by the second layer of filter plate and then slide down through the circumferential hole to the inner wall of the tank. It reduces the sound of running water.3.
